Stefania Campioli

Intern Cities in Placemaking

After graduating, Stefania worked as an architect freelance in some architectural firms for 7 years. Then, to explore her passion for urban design, she won a fellowship at Politecnico di Milano and changed her job for research about the accessibility and inclusion of the city of Mantua. After that experience, she wanted to focus her expertise on making cities more people friendly, dealing with sustainability, health and equity. She is currently a PhD candidate at Politecnico di Milano with research on how co-design can help designers in making inclusive, healthy and safe public spaces at a different design scale.

As an intern at STIPO she takes part in the Cities in Placemaking programme supporting the team, the board and organization with a variety of tasks, learning how to plan and manage placemaking processes for a systemic change.

She is married to Marco and they share a lot of common interests supporting each other in their life. She is passionate about architecture, design and photography. She also loves traveling and cooking healthy food. In her spare time she likes to be in the company of loved people sharing good food. She also likes to let off steam while recharging her batteries with workouts and a punching-bag.
