Elahe Haghani

Intern

Elahe Haghani earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture and urban design in Iran, focusing her thesis on infill design to revitalize abandoned buildings and prevent urban sprawl. Afterward, she and her husband ran a workshop designing spaces and custom furniture. She then spent two years as a junior urban designer at Tehran Metro, improving underground stations and liaising between the municipality and neighborhoods. Outside of work, she is learning Dutch and hosts a Persian storytelling podcast. Her hobbies include reading and listening to podcasts.
