Dirk de Jager has been an associate at STIPO since September 2022. He has experience as a city councilor in various city districts in Amsterdam. He was responsible for complex area development such as the Houthavens, Spaarndammerbuurt and Zuidoost. Dirk also has experience with vision development, strategy and design of bicycle infrastructure in Bangalore, Tehran and a number of Turkish cities. In his view, social goals and physical interventions are inextricably connected. Dirk is convinced that an equal partnership with stakeholders is a precondition for successful area development. He is looking for innovation and dares to pioneer. Dirk is also a connector and is focused on result-oriented collaboration. Sustainability in a socially responsible manner is one of his motivations. In his spare time he likes to go sailing or enjoy nature on a nice bike ride.
