Afke is part of the STIPO & Placemaking Europe team as an intern. She is currently pursuing Spatial Development & Climate Management at The Hague University of Applied Scences.
She is eager to learn and contribute to the Placemaking Europe. But will also be working on her bachelor’s thesis about placemaking and climate adaptation. And developing a tool to implement climate adaptation in placemaking.
With past experiences as an intern by a municipality and a consultancy, is STIPO a great place to complete her bacelor.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Afke has a strong passion for her volunteer work at her local Scouting group. And enjoys going to museums, movies and enjoying the outdoors with some good friends!
