Martina Cermenati

STIPO Italy Cooperative

Martina is a founding member of STIPO Italy Cooperative.

She is an architect based in Milan, with a degree in Building Architecture from Politecnico di Milano, where she also earned her Master’s degree in Architecture. Her academic journey was enriched by a year of study in the UK, where she deepened her language skills and broadened her international perspective.

With a multidisciplinary approach, Martina works on projects ranging from active mobility and surface-level urban interventions to the enhancement of green public spaces. Each project is conceived as part of a broader vision of a sustainable, connected, and people-centered city.

Since 2019, she has been collaborating with AMAT – Milan’s Agency for Mobility, Environment and Territory – supporting the Municipality in the development of integrated urban strategies. Previously, she completed an internship at the City of Milan’s Department of Green Spaces, gaining hands-on experience in the planning and management of public projects and processes.

Martina believes in a human-centered city, shaped through inclusive and collaborative processes. Her work with STIPO Italy is driven by the conviction that high-quality public spaces and the promotion of alternative mobility are key to building more equitable, accessible, and livable cities.
